Yah Teeh ! (Welcome) My name is James King with youth navajo name Biee'Di'cloo' (Woolenshirt) from Bit'ahnii
birth for Naaneesht'zh' clan.Raised on a farm along the San Juan River. The outhouse wall was artistic drawing
board. Soon it was endless what you can do with house paints .My first oil painting was over a paint by num
-ber board after I got bored with the numbers. I started to support myself with my quick drawings and small
paintings in high school. Accepted into art school in Salt Lake I drifted away to establish my own style
against restrictive recommended techniques.I finished with a D . Back on the rez I met a buyer that got
me into my first successful gallery show in California. Within the 37 years on the road I was associated
with several art groups, fine galleries and many distinquished collectors and awards. Today I've slowed-down
to focus on the annual Phoenix Heard Museum art Market in March, the Santa Fe Indian Market. in August and
special orders. Please take a look around to see examples of my hard earned-distinctive style and let me
know if you are interested in purchasing an original oil painting or a fine reproduction of any of my work.
Thanks for coming, enjoy your visit!
